Certified Life Care Planner (or in the process of certification)
McGregor Berger & Associates is a healthcare consulting firm specializing in independent assessments and providing expert reports for medical-legal cases and insurance claims involving personal injury or disability. We are currently seeking a healthcare professional with a background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Nursing to join our Southern Ontario team of healthcare experts. Applicants considered for the position must be registered with their applicable college. The Evaluator will perform comprehensive and standardized assessments, coordinate services, and prepare expert reports including but not limited to life care plans and functional capacity evaluation reports.
The qualified applicant must possess the following:
- Valid OT, PT, or Nursing licence
- Valid driver’s licence
- Experience in medical-legal evaluations is preferred
- ICHCC Certified Life Care Planner, or working toward certification required
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Advanced skills in written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities

Vocational Evaluator
We are currently seeking a Vocational Evaluator to join our Southern Ontario team of healthcare experts. This position is suitable to a person with a background in vocational rehabilitation, psychology or related field. Applicants must have experience with psychometric testing in the areas of reasoning ability, intelligence, vocational aptitudes, educational skills, and career interests.
The qualified applicant must possess the following:
- Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor (CCRC) designation, or Registered Psychologist
- Valid driver’s licence
- Experience with litigation and insurance claims preferred
- Appropriate licensing and training to perform psychometric testing as identified above
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
- Well-developed time management, organization and teamwork skills
- Occasional travel is required
