Steve is a committed Occupational Therapist, registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists, and an active membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. He earned his degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Western Ontario, in 1992. He completed a Master of Science in Management with a concertation in Healthcare from New England College in 2010. Steve is a Certified Life Care Planner through the International Commission on Health Care Certification.
With 32 years of healthcare consulting experience spanning across various sectors including legal, insurance, government, and industry, Mr. McGregor has held leadership roles throughout his career, operating from Ontario to British Columbia. He is a recognized expert in Functional Capacity Evaluations and Life Care Plans, having been qualified as such in the Court of King’s Bench in Alberta and the Superior Court of Ontario. Client populations include those with chronic pain, psychiatric, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, among others.
Steve actively engages in training and guiding team members, fostering collaboration to ensure that every professional achieves the exemplary standards set by both ourselves and our clients. His proficiency encompasses crafting disability management policies, refining testing protocols, outlining job demands, and devising ergonomic programs for a broad spectrum of organizations, spanning from crown corporations to multinational enterprises.
During his leisure time, Steve finds pleasure in golfing, cycling, and spending time with family.
