Ellyse is a dedicated occupational therapist, holding registration and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, alongside active membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. She earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University, building upon her foundational education with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a minor in Psychology from the University of Ottawa. Ellyse also proudly holds the designation of Canadian Certified Life Care Planner (CCLCP) through the International Commission on Health Care Certification.
As the regional manager of our Ontario division, Ellyse oversees operations with a focus on excellence in service delivery. Her extensive professional journey encompasses both community and clinical settings, where she has conducted assessments and provided treatment across diverse populations. Her expertise spans various conditions including traumatic brain injury, birth trauma, spinal cord injury, amputations, complex orthopedics, chronic pain, and psychiatric disorders. With meticulous attention to detail, Ellyse brings extensive experience in evaluating functional capacity and projecting future care needs and costs, particularly within the realms of insurance, medical negligence, and personal injury litigation.
Outside of her clinical endeavors, Ellyse remains committed to community enrichment, having played a pivotal role in developing the 'Transition to Success' program in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of Kingston, Ontario. In her down time, she indulges in good coffee, embarks on travel adventures to explore new destinations, and cherishes moments spent with her family and dogs.
