Mr. Kucharski is a registered Occupational Therapist in the province of Alberta. He holds a Master of Science in occupational therapy from McGill University as well as Master of Arts in critical disability studies from York University. He is a certified Cost of Future Care/LCP (Advanced) and AADL Authorizer.
Mr. Kucharski has over 10 years of experience as a private practice occupational therapist, including work in both Ontario and Alberta. This includes the areas of chronic pain management, return-to-work programming, functional driving assessment, functional capacity evaluation, and life care planning. After moving to Calgary, he became involved in project development and helped lead the launch of a short-stay inpatient rehabilitation unit. He has also worked in the public sector, providing hand therapy services on the Foothills Medical Centre burns unit, while volunteering his time to serve as chair of the Calgary Transit Access Eligibility Appeals Board.
At present, Mr. Kucharski maintains a strong focus on providing independent functional evaluations in the medical-legal field. He has also established a driving evaluation program at the clinic for medically at-risk drivers. When he is not working, you can typically find him cycling, packrafting, and casting to rising trout on a stream somewhere in the foothills.
